Save the Ottawa Hempology 101 club!

by tedsmith » Sat Sep 07, 2013 4:50 pm

The young University of Ottawa Hempology 101 Club is in trouble and needs help. Forming last year just after Gayle and I did a convention tour last year, there is no one among the small number of students that formed the club that feels they have enough time to be president of the club and keep it active. So we have to kick it into high gear and find some students who are willing and able to help.

We are not asking for a lot of time if the new president wants to keep their commitment to a minimum. School comes first and should never be compromised for Hempology 101. All we really need to do is get the club officially registered for the semester, book a room for the convention and help put up some posters for the event in Nov. At that time we should be able to meet enough other students that they will take over. We have a very friendly law professor, Eugene Oscapella, who can help keep the club together, too.

A starter package with buttons and newspapers has already been sent to Ottawa. To keep the club going we just need about 10 students to join. Clubs days are coming up, which is the perfect chance to do this but time is precious. Please share this notice around to anyone you think might be interested in helping.
